- One email address per adult, and nothing at all for a child — no email, no phone number, no contacts.
- The camera is used only to scan a QR invitation code. Nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded.

1Information We Collect
Family Agreements is designed to collect the minimum amount of information necessary to operate the service.
Parent account information:
- Email address
- Authentication tokens required to maintain a session
The email address is used only for authentication and account management.
Child profiles:
- Display name chosen by the parent or child
- Internal identifier (UUID)
- Membership within a family group
Child accounts do not require an email address.
2Family Data
The application may store information related to family activity, including:
- Household tasks
- Task completion status
- Reward catalog entries
- Reward requests
- Points balances
- Transaction history (ledger)
This information exists only to support core app functionality.
3Camera Permission
Family Agreements may request access to the device camera.
The camera is used only for scanning QR invitation codes when a child joins a family or re-authenticates a device.
The application does not:
- Record video
- Store images
- Upload camera content to servers
Camera access occurs only when the user explicitly chooses to scan a QR code.
4How Information Is Used
Information collected by the application is used only to:
- Authenticate users
- Manage family membership
- Track task completion
- Maintain point balances
- Process reward requests
- Display activity history
The application does not sell personal data.
5Data Storage
Application data may be stored on secure backend servers operated by the developer.
Stored data may include:
- Account identifiers
- Family data
- Tasks and rewards
- Ledger history
Reasonable security measures are used to protect stored information.
6Data Sharing
Family Agreements does not share personal data with third parties, except when required for essential service operation, such as:
- Authentication infrastructure
- Secure hosting providers
The application does not use advertising networks and does not track users for advertising purposes.
7Children's Privacy
Family Agreements is designed to be used within families under the supervision of parents or guardians.
Child profiles contain only:
- A display name
- Activity within the family system
The application does not collect external contact information for children. Parents control creation and management of child accounts.
8Data Retention
Data is stored only as long as the family account exists.
If an account is deleted, associated family data may also be removed from the system.
9Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting the developer at [email protected].
After verification, account data will be removed from the system.
10Security
The developer takes reasonable measures to protect user information, including:
- Secure authentication
- Encrypted network communication
- Server-side authorization controls
However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
11Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
